Welcome to Ristorante La Feluca

Calle de la Mandola, 3648, 30124 Venezia VE, Italy

General Info

Tucked away in the heart of Venice, Ristorante La Feluca sits quietly on Calle de la Mandola, 3648, in the 30124 Venezia area. This Venetian restaurant feels like one of those places you’re happy to stumble upon while wandering the narrow streets, where the pace slows and the focus shifts entirely to good food and relaxed conversation. The location makes it easy to reach from central sights, yet it still feels comfortably local rather than tourist-driven.

The menu leans confidently into classic Venetian flavors, with pasta taking center stage in a way that feels both traditional and personal. Dishes like gnocchi with duck ragout are rich and comforting, offering deep, slow-cooked flavors that linger long after the last bite. Spaghetti with cuttlefish brings a more coastal personality to the table, with its distinctive taste reflecting Venice’s long-standing relationship with the lagoon. Even the bread deserves attention-fresh, simple, and clearly treated as part of the experience rather than an afterthought. For seafood lovers, oysters add a refined touch that balances the heartier pasta options nicely.

What makes dining here especially enjoyable is how naturally everything flows together. The wine list is thoughtfully curated, making it easy to find a bottle that complements both seafood and meat-based dishes without feeling overwhelming. Whether you’re settling in for a relaxed dinner or stopping by later in the evening, the late-night food service keeps the kitchen lively and welcoming. Reservations are accepted, which is useful in a city where popular dining spots can fill up quickly, and credit cards are conveniently accepted.

Ristorante La Feluca also manages to be family-friendly without losing its grown-up charm. It’s a place where kids are welcome, yet adults can still enjoy a calm, unrushed meal. Reviews often highlight the comfortable atmosphere and the sense that this is a restaurant built on consistency rather than trends. From the menu choices to the approachable service, everything feels designed to make guests want to return, whether they’re locals or visiting Venice for the first time.

Overall, the experience here feels genuine and grounded, rooted in Venetian culinary tradition while remaining easygoing and accessible. It’s the kind of restaurant where the food, location, and atmosphere quietly work together to create a memorable meal without trying too hard.

What customers say?

“ Anything less than five stars is ridiculous. This place is fantastic. We had the spaghetti with lobster special that was incredible. The calamari to start was the best calamari I've ever eaten. We also split a T-Bone, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. We were the first there at 18:30, seated immediately and received great service up until we were done with our desert -- after that it took around 20 minutes to get our check. They would benefit from another server or two to help on busy nights. ”

“ We loved this restaurant! Our holiday let was literally metres from this establishment, so we decided to try it for convenience, and were so glad we did. The food was delicious - beautifully presented and fresh. The service was good, and the setting (outside in the evening in San Marco) was unbeatable. What a lovely place to visit! ”

“ La Feluca is truly a hidden gem in Venice! We first met the owner, Giacomo, two years ago, and it was such a joy to reconnect and experience his restaurant this time around. From the moment we walked in, Giacomo personally welcomed us with the kind of warmth and hospitality that instantly makes you feel at home. The food was phenomenal — every dish was perfectly cooked and beautifully presented — and the cocktails were some of the best we’ve had in Italy. What stood out most is the atmosphere: it’s vibrant, local, and full of life. We noticed many Venetian locals dining here, which says everything about the quality and authenticity of the place. La Feluca was a true highlight of our trip to Venice, and we can’t recommend it enough. Just one note — the restaurant gets fully booked for dinner, so be sure to make a reservation in advance. Thank you, Giacomo, for another unforgettable evening! ”

“ Last weekend went in Venecia to see Carnival, and had the pleasure of dining at Ristorante La Feluca and trying their pasta and gnocchi dishes. The quality of the food was exceptional, with perfectly cooked pasta and delicate, pillowy soft gnocchi. The sauces were rich and flavorful, complementing the dishes perfectly. The ambiance of the restaurant was okay and the staff were fast and friendly. ”

“ It’s not clear feeling about this place. You should try though. We looked through the menu. There was enough options. But when waiter came he offered “out of menu” dishes. And we chose one of them (pasta with truffles). The food is amazing. Octopus was perfectly cooked. Exactly as it must be. Pasta with truffles was very good too. Panna cotta 5/10, not cool. But with all this berries it was pretty eatable. The funny thing was at the end. When we got the bill they made price for pasta 40 euros which is level of Michelin restaurant (but not regular street spot). We planned to have them some tips but we decided to not do it. After all I checked the reviews of this place and they cheating/playing with prices quite often. So be careful about it. Final conclusion: the food is worth to try; and if you’ll be prepared for little cheating it will be fun for you. ”

“ Amazing food, and fantastic service. Initially, the front of house was extremely friendly, seating us and making recommendations, without being too pushy, giving us plenty of time to view the menu All waiting staff throughout our time here were very friendly, accommodating and understanding of my 7 months pregnant wife, making us both feel very welcome and looked after The food itself was absolutely incredible. 3 days into our trip to Venice, this was by far the best food we've had, accompanied by the friendliest, politest, and most helpful staff My wife had the lobster tagliatelle, followed by tiramisu. I had the swordfish ravioli, followed by belly pork with broccoli. We were both extremely happy with our choices We would highly recommend visiting here ”
